Why we call it beautiful BCBrandywine Falls is third highest waterfall in BC. It's just off the highway between Whistler, and my home in Vancouver. I was fortunate to catch the rainbow as the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. Then I had to walk away. I'm afraid of heights and was beginning to get the jitters!
One of the best things about where I live is birdwatching from my window. A Downy Woodpecker grabbing lunch.
A seagull dives for starfish at Porteau Cove.
And Oystercatchers, beaks aglow in the sunset. (Can you tell I'm nuts about birds?)
A cresting wave of rock on Gabriola Island.
And the view from Mt. Kobau.
And sunset.
Back home in my garden, early summer...
